What is stress?
Stress is the feeling of distress beyond ones coping ability as a result of fatigue, issues or events. Some of us use the word 'stress' carelessly when we refer to fatigue, not knowing that stress could be more dangerous and if not well managed, can lead to Heart attack, stroke, depression, Aggression, and even spiritual ailments like bad dreams etc.Stress can arise from bereavement, rejection, unrequited love, domestic issues, abuse, migration, over work, job insecurity, and even role conflict. When people feel stress, the body naturally produces some chemicals which produces high energy when faced with physical danger. Such chemicals are produced from the adrenaline gland. Stress can be physical, emotional, and occupational . These stressors affect our physical health ,spirituality, , mental stability and even our jobs.
